The Batavier Line was a Dutch company which ran Rotterdam-London passenger service. Only one ship survived the Second World War and the service ceased in 1958.

Thule Line / Swedish Lloyd

The Thule Line was formed in 1870 in Gothenburg and commenced passenger services between Gothenburg and Granton (Leith) in 1879. Services to London started in 1882 and to Harwich in 1910. The company was absorbed by Swedish Lloyd in 1916. Newcastle service commenced in 1920.

Nordenfjeldske

Nordenfjeldske operated passenger services from 1890 between Trondheim-Bergen-Newcastle. North Sea passenger services ceased in 1921.
