Notices published in various newspapers, by family and
friends, seeking missing emigrants. This section will be updated whenever
additional "information wanted" items are received.
Information Wanted.—
RICHARD MONAGAN, Cooper, from the county of Meath, in Ireland, wishes
to hear of his brother PATRICK, who left Ireland in May 1827, for Liverpool,
from whence he sailed for Quebec. He was last seen in Montreal but
is supposed to have returned to Quebec ; occasionally works as a Cooper
and sometimes as a Sawyer in Shipyards.
Any information respecting the said Patrick will be thankfully received
by the Editor of the Montreal Gazette, or W. Crooks, Grimsby, Upper
Canada, where his brother now resides.

Left His Home!
Alexander Gordon Oliver, left his Father's
house in Edinburgh, 28th, May 1845, and has not since returned; it
has been ascertained that he went to
Glasgow under the assumed name of "James Thompson," from whence
he sailed to Quebec, where all trace of him has been lost. He is sixteen years
of age; five
feet four inches in height; of a ruddy complexion, hair brown, eyes hazel.
His absence has thrown his family into the greatest affliction; in fact, his
mother
has ever since been confined to bed.
Any person knowing where the said lad
is stopping, and addressing a line to Mr. Alpin McIntosh, Dorchester Street,
Montreal,
or to the Banner and Globe Office, will be handsomely rewarded for his trouble.

P.S. Should this meet the eye of Alexander, he may rest assured
that his leaving his home and his parents will be forgotten and forgiven; all
that is asked of him is that he will return home and relieve their anxiety.

Information Wanted
Patrick McNulty is desirous of obtaining
information concerning Catherine, Sarah, James and John
McNulty, who
left Liverpool for Quebec after the beginning of May last, and whom
he supposes to have arrived either here or at the Quarantine Station.

Information Wanted
Of Timothy, Andrew, Daniel and Michael
Sullivan, sons to Timothy Sullivan, Farrier and Mary Marshall,
both of Liscremin, near Bardon, County Cork, Irleand, who severally
sailed
from Cove to Canada and the United States, in the years 1833, '38,
'40 and '44. Any information, relative to ALL or EITHER of them, addressed
to the Widow and Orphan Asylum, Toronto, Canada West, will thankfully

Information Wanted
Of Mrs. Margaret Clarke, from the
Parish of Kilencare, County Cavan, Ireland. She left four children
sick at Grosse Island last Summer, the only survivor is now living
in Toronto, and anxious to hear of her Mother. Address, Briget Clarke,

Of a Boy named Clement Raeburn, aged
13 years who was left at Quarantine, in the month of August last. Intelligence

Of Thomas and Robert Kavenaugh, who
Emigrated from the County Kilkenny, Parish of Muckalee, sometime last
summer, and supposed to have stopped at Quebec. Their Mother and Sister
are in Toronto, and anyone who knowing any thing of them would confer
a great favour by addressing a line to that effect, to Mrs. Kavenaugh,
care of A.M. Smith King Street, Toronto.
