Every effort has been made to create an inclusive list of passenger ship arrivals, however the lists could contain errors or have omissions. Ship Amelia 21st April - Porsgrund - (Iversen) [MG] all passengers left at Grosse Isle except 6 cabin passengers [SS&A] outbreak of typhoid fever and measles - 49 of the 280 passengers died during passage - after arrival at Quebec 170 of the survivors were hospitalized, 31 of those died at the hospital. After this journey the Amelia did not sail with emigrants again until 1867 & 1868. (passenger numbers at right in error)
