barque Sea Queen, 418 tons, Captain Robert T. Wood, from Gravesend December 12th 1849 / Plymouth 26th December 1849, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 25th March 1850.

The South Australian Register, Tuesday March 26th 1850 reports:— . . Monday March 25, the Barque Sea Queen, 418 tons, Wood Master, from Gravesend 12 December 1849 and Plymouth 26 December 1849—2nd ship from England to S.A. with government passengers for 1850; Dr. James J. Knife / Knipe, Surgeon-Superintendent, with 242 emigrants; two births and one death in passage.

Passenger in cabin: John Catchside Esq. David Guirhre (Guthrie ?) Catchside, Miss A. and Miss S. Catchside, Miss G. Thrie, Miss Catherine Pelman, Mrs. E. Hedley, J. F. Knipe Esq., surgeon-superintendent and William Kay in the cabin and the following Government Emigrants in steerage.
