barque Sultana, 588 tons, Captain David Mainland, from London 23rd March 1850 / Plymouth 6th April 1850, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 25th July 1850.

The South Australian Register Friday 26th July 1850:- Thursday 25th July, the barque Sultana, 588 tons, Mainland, from London 23rd March and Plymouth 6th April.
Passengers: Arthur Blyth, Esq., and lady, Mr. Kingsmill, Mr. Cameron, Rev. J.W. Schoales and Dr. H. McKevett in the Cabin, and the following Government Emigrants in Steerage.
Two deaths:— Mrs. Sadler 29th June and Mrs. Aspland 2nd July both after premature confinement; and three children born, named Whitlock, Gear and Smith. — 6th ship from England to S.A. with government passengers for 1850 ; H. McKevett, surgeon-superintendent ; three births and two deaths on the passage.
